Back Flow Testing

Backflow testing is an essential test on properties with Medium to high hazard ratings. This means properties in commercial buildings, fire systems, or properties with Irrigation.

A backflow test is designed to check for differential pressure across the backflow valve which is in place to stop contaminated water flowing back into the main water supply.

Backflow Testing can only be completed by a Plumber with a specific Class in Water Supply Work.

Which means, they are required to have completed additional study and sit an addition exam.
